Pestana Vila Sol Golf & Resort Hotel

The location is great, around a 5 minutes taxi from Vilamoura Marina. Plenty of parking and charger points. The rooms are a good size and located in nice gardens with nice pools and 2 minute walk to the golf club.

This was a beautiful hotel, perfect for us as we wanted a short break that was relaxing. Therefore the location was good because it is not surrounded by things to do. This suited our needs and the beautiful Vilamoura marina was a short taxi ride at a reasonable 5 Euros approx. The property is spacious, with nice areas to sit both inside and outside. The pool area was really nice and a children’s pool positioned on a higher level area. This was a lovely area as it was often very quiet and relaxing. Inside the main voyer area there is refreshments and fruit available. We found the staff very helpful especially Fernando the hotel manager and Mohammad from the dining/ bar, whose friendly approach and keenness to stop and have a chat with us was really appreciated.

Staff were friendly and helpful as much as possible with very nice rooms. Breakfast was great with delicious options of breads, fruit, pancakes, made to your liking omelettes as well as variety of other breakfast staples. Pool was lovely Overall there was a beautiful peaceful vibe.

Rooms are of a good size. An indoor heated pool with sauna and steam room. A small jacuzzi and a large adult pool with children’s just above it. Relaxing atmosphere with relaxing evening entertainment. Staff were amazing, couldn’t do enough for you. Plenty of Ubers and a transfer service between golf courses. Remember this is a golf resort so if you some hustle and bustle forget it as it’s fairly remote which was great for me. Pool bar did some great snacks. Some very good touch’s with a surprise cocktail for breakfast on my last day also with a bottle of champagne. A lovely setting for breakfast with a small lake /pond with ducks and swans passing by.

The size of the room was good and the bed very comfortable. The location is nice, quiet and beautiful but far from everything so you are depending on taxi or car. Pool area was nice and quiet as the the kids pool is well "isolated" . Breakfast was delicious but inconsistent and bigger variety was expected.
